Join our People’s Network

We invite you to influence the health and care services used by you, your family and friends.

We are looking for enthusiastic, willing people of different ages and backgrounds to join our online People’s Network and share views by answering surveys.

You don’t need to have any experience of using health and care services but just be willing to join conversations about a range of issues important to you.

If you want to improve the lives of people in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, join our People’s Network.

To become a member of the Network you will:

  • Need to be over 16 years old and live or work in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin
  • Be asked to complete online surveys to share your views about health and care
  • Receive updates about local developments in health and care

What do we need from you as a member?

  • You don’t need to have any experience of using health and care services
  • A willingness to contribute
  • As much or as little time as you can give
  • A desire to help improve local health and care and make a difference.
What does being a Network member involve?

Usually, surveys are shared once a month and take approximately 10 minutes to complete. You can choose which one you wish to answer. Our surveys will generally be on different health or social care topics like hospital services, GP access, care services, public health services and much more. You can fill them out on your phone or computer. We can offer a telephone call if you need assistance. People within the NHS and Local Authority who make decisions on local services consider the feedback we receive.

Occasionally there is an opportunity to take part in a focus group. These meetings will normally take place online, occasionally in person. You choose if you’d like to be involved.

You can opt out of the People’s Network at any time.
