'Think' Campaign Toolkit 2026/2027
The Think campaign helps people stay well, act early and get the right help, right time, first time.
Launching ahead of winter, 'Think' is a year-round communications and engagement campaign designed to help residents understand the range of health and care services available to them and make informed choices about where to go when they need advice, treatment or support.
The campaign aims to:
- Encourage people to stay well and manage minor illnesses at home where appropriate.
- Help people access the right service first time.
- Increase awareness and appropriate use of NHS 111, community pharmacy, GP practice teams, urgent care services and mental health support.
- Reduce avoidable demand on GP practices and Emergency Departments.
- Help ensure urgent and emergency services remain available for those who need them most.
- Support system resilience during periods of increased pressure, including winter or heat waves.
The campaign is built around six key themes:
- Think Self-Care
- Think NHS 111 First
- Think Pharmacy
- Think GP Practice Team
- Think Urgent Care
- Think Mental Health
