Shropshire named as national Neighbourhood Pioneer
We’re proud to announce that Shropshire has been chosen as one of just 43 sites across England to join the new national neighbourhood programme.
This achievement highlights the strong partnerships across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System and our shared commitment to improving care for people with complex health needs.
The programme will support neighbourhoods across Shropshire to develop more joined-up, person-centred services. Each pioneer area will have access to national expertise, workshops, and opportunities to share learning with peers across the country.
For us, this recognition is both a celebration of the progress already made and an opportunity to shape the future of integrated care. It puts Shropshire at the forefront of innovation in neighbourhood working, helping us deliver better services and outcomes for our communities.
Given the strong relationships across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and the involvement of Trusts, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and other partners in both Place partnership boards (SHIPP and TWIPP), we remain committed to sharing learning and improvements across the system.
